CURATORIAL STATEMENT

The Lost Archives presents a selection of works from the Dei Collection that have remained out of public view for many years. Spanning 1963 to 2011 and featuring Ghanaian and international artists working across painting, printmaking, and mixed media, the exhibition reflects the archive as a living space of memory, experimentation, and continuity.

These works return to the present not as relics, but as active voices — inviting renewed interpretation, dialogue across generations, and a deeper appreciation of the evolving narratives embedded within the collection.
